Description

HBS Fasteners manufactures premium Circlips, the essential fastening solution for retaining rotating parts in mechanical assemblies. Designed to be installed into a pre-machined groove, they provide a strong, protruding ledge that keeps components like bearings, gears, and pulleys in place. Available in both “External” types (for shafts) and “Internal” types (for bores), these rings eliminate the need for bulky threaded nuts or pins, allowing for a significantly more streamlined and efficient design.

Technical Specifications

• Types Available: * External Circlips (DIN 471): Designed to expand over a shaft and snap into a groove.

  • Internal Circlips (DIN 472): Designed to compress and fit inside a hollow bore or housing.

  • E-Clips (DIN 6799): Side-mounting rings that do not require specialized pliers for installation.

• Standard: Manufactured strictly to DIN 471, DIN 472, and DIN 6799 standards.

• Design Feature: Features small lugs with holes to accommodate circlip pliers for easy installation and removal.

• Size Range: Available in a wide range of diameters from 3mm to 300mm.

Material & Quality Excellence

• Stainless Steel: Available in high-grade Spring Stainless Steel (SS 304, 316, and 420) for excellent corrosion resistance and hygiene.

• Other Materials: Produced in high-carbon Spring Steel (70Si7 / 65Mn) for maximum tension and elasticity.

• In-House Control: Utilizing raw materials from our own facility, we apply specialized austempering heat treatment. This ensures the circlip can be expanded or compressed repeatedly without losing its shape or “spring” tension.

• Surface Finishing: Options include Black Phosphate (standard for oil retention), Zinc Plating, and Natural Finish.
