Nord Lock Washers

Description

HBS Fasteners provides high-end Nord-Lock Washers, a world-class solution for safety-critical bolted joints. The system consists of a pair of washers with cams on one side and radial teeth on the opposite side. The cams are designed with a rise angle ($\alpha$) greater than the bolt thread pitch ($\beta$). This “wedge-effect” ensures that any attempt by the bolt to rotate loose is immediately blocked by the cams. Because the locking is achieved through tension, the fastener remains secure regardless of lubrication or surface conditions.
