HBS Fasteners manufactures premium Pan Head SEMS Screws, a “must-have” for modern production lines. By securing the washer onto the screw shank during the manufacturing process, we eliminate the manual task of picking and placing washers. The Pan Head design provides a flat bearing surface that distributes the load evenly, making it ideal for securing brackets, plates, and electronic components. The “captive” washer ensures it never falls off into sensitive machinery, preventing electrical shorts or mechanical jams.

Technical Specifications

• Standard: Manufactured in accordance with DIN 6900 (SEMS) and DIN 7985 / ISO 7045 (Head dimensions).

• Washer Options: Available with single or double washer combinations:

  • Flat Washer: To increase the bearing surface and protect soft materials.

  • Spring/Split Washer: To provide tension and prevent loosening due to vibration.

  • Internal/External Tooth: To ensure electrical continuity and “bite” into the surface for extra grip.

• Drive Type: Phillips, Pozidriv, or Combi (Phillips/Slotted) for use with automated power drivers.

• Size Range: Available in metric diameters from M2.5 to M10 with various thread lengths.

Material & Quality Excellence

• Stainless Steel: Available in A2 (304) and A4 (316) for high-grade corrosion resistance.

• Other Materials: Produced in High-Tensile Carbon Steel and Brass (ideal for electrical grounding).

• In-House Control: Using raw materials from our own wire drawing facility, we ensure that the thread-rolling process creates a precise fit that holds the washer permanently while allowing it to rotate freely for easy installation.

• Surface Finishing: Options include Zinc Plating, Nickel Plating, Black Oxide, and Trivalent Passivation.
