Description

HBS Fasteners manufactures premium Phillips SEMS Screws, the industry standard for high-volume automated manufacturing. These fasteners feature a cross-recess (Phillips) drive and one or more captive washers held permanently on the screw shank by the rolled threads. By integrating the washer into the fastener, we provide a “one-piece” solution that prevents the common industrial hazard of dropped or missing washers. The Phillips drive is specifically engineered for use with power tools, allowing for fast engagement and high-torque tightening without slipping.

Technical Specifications

• Standard: Manufactured in accordance with DIN 6900 and compatible with ISO 7045 / DIN 7985 (Pan Head) or DIN 965 (CSK Head).

• Drive Type: Phillips (Cross-Recess) for easy centring and high-speed installation.

• Washer Variations: * Single SEMS: Equipped with one Flat, Spring, or Star washer.

  • Double SEMS: Equipped with both a Flat and a Spring washer for maximum locking power.

• Size Range: Available in metric diameters from M2 to M12 in various lengths.

• Functionality: The washer is free-spinning but non-removable, ensuring it is always present during assembly.

Material & Quality Excellence

• Stainless Steel: Available in A2 (304) and A4 (316) for corrosion-proof performance in electrical and outdoor applications.

• Other Materials: Produced in High-Tensile Carbon Steel (Grade 4.8, 8.8) and Alloy Steel.

• In-House Control: Using raw materials from our own wire drawing facility, we ensure the thread-to-washer clearance is perfectly maintained. This ensures the screw can be driven smoothly while the washer provides 100% surface contact.

• Surface Finishing: Options include Zinc Plating (Clear, Yellow, Black), Nickel Plating, and Chrome Plating.
