Description

HBS Fasteners manufactures premium Socket Head SEMS Screws, designed for high-performance engineering environments. These fasteners feature a cylindrical socket head with an internal hex drive and one or more captive washers held permanently on the shank. Because the washer is installed before the threads are rolled, it cannot be removed or lost. This “ready-to-install” design is perfect for deep-counterbore holes where manually placing a washer would be impossible, and it ensures maximum clamping force in high-vibration machinery.

• Standard: Manufactured in accordance with DIN 6900 and compatible with DIN 912 / ISO 4762 head dimensions.

• Drive Type: Internal Hexagon Socket (Allen Drive) for maximum torque transfer and high-tension tightening.

• Washer Options: Available with various pre-assembled combinations:

  • Spring/Split Washer: To prevent loosening due to thermal expansion or vibration.

  • Flat Washer: To distribute load and protect the surface of the component.

  • Double SEMS: Both spring and flat washers for maximum security.

• Size Range: Available in metric diameters from M3 to M16.

Material & Quality Excellence

• Stainless Steel: Available in A2 (304) and A4 (316) for superior rust resistance in chemical and marine applications.

• Other Materials: Produced in Grade 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9 High-Tensile Alloy Steel for structural and high-pressure use.

• In-House Control: Produced using raw materials from our own wire drawing facility. We use precision assembly technology to ensure the washer spins freely for accurate torque readings while remaining permanently captive on the screw.

• Surface Finishing: Options include Black Oxide, Zinc Plating, Geomet, and Trivalent Passivation.
