HBS Fasteners manufactures premium Square Pins engineered for high-torque mechanical transmission. These pins are designed to fit into matching keyways on both the shaft and the rotating component (such as a coupling or flywheel). By providing a solid mechanical interference, they prevent relative rotation between parts, effectively acting as a sacrificial safety link that protects expensive machinery from overload damage.

• Type: Parallel Square Key / Square Location Pin.

• Edge Profile: Available with square-cut ends or chamfered edges for easier insertion into tight-tolerance keyways.

• Size Range: Manufactured in standard metric and imperial widths, ranging from 2mm to 25mm and above.

• Tolerance: Precision-drawn or ground to h9 or h11 tolerance classes to ensure a snug, vibration-free fit.

• Design Feature: Uniform cross-section along the entire length for consistent load distribution.

• Stainless Steel: Available in high-grade Austenitic (A2, A4) for corrosion resistance in food processing or marine environments.

• Other Materials: Produced in high-carbon C45 Steel, Alloy Steel, and Mild Steel.

• Manufacturing Power: Produced using raw materials from our in-house wire drawing facility. We use specialized cold-drawing and precision-cutting techniques to ensure the squareness and dimensional accuracy of every pin.
